Social Impact Career Mentor: Wendy Walker (Impact Investing)

Have questions about working in the social impact sector? The Haas Center for Nonprofit and Public Leadership is pleased to offer individual mentoring sessions with experienced Haas alumni working in the sector. This is an opportunity to gain first-hand information on the best ways to enter the constantly evolving industry and to discuss your professional path. Individual mentoring sessions are available on a first come, first served basis to current Haas MBA students. Mentoring hours will take place monthly.

Wendy Walker, MBA 11 (Impact Investing)

Wendy is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates in Menlo Park. She works with a number of museum, university, hospital and other nonprofit institutions with assets from $90 million to $900 million on investment issues such as asset allocation strategy, manager selection and investment program evaluation. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Wendy was a securities analyst at Argus Research, where she co-managed four model portfolios and published equity research on media and business service companies. She also worked as an MBA intern on the investment teams at Imprint Capital Advisors, focusing on socially responsible and environmental-themed investment managers, and at Parnassus Investments, incorporating environmental, social and governance analysis into industry and company-specific research. Wendy is a former vice chair of the Sustainable Investing Committee of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
